The F.I.E.L.D.S Project is a Sector Skills Alliance (Blue Print for Skills) project, addressing the current and Future skIll needs for sustainability, digitalization, and the bio-Economy in agricuLture: European skills agenDa and Strategy

This is a new project in collaboration with Copa Cogeca to establish a training committee to benchmark skills across the agricultural sector, with specific focus on:

  • Agricultural sustainability, management of natural resources and climate action,
  • Digital technologies, digitalization, big data and artificial intelligence,
  • Bio-Economy & Circular Economy and bio-based products
  • Soft skills
  • Business & Entrepreneurship Skills

The project is aimed at farm level, co-operative level and seeks to include higher educational providers in the area of VET training for industry.

The project includes 30 partners from 12 countries, namely, Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Nederland, Portugal, Slovenia and Spain and has a total budget of €3,996,600.

The project started in January 2020 and will last for a total of four years, up to the 31st December 2023.

This project has been funded with support from the European Commission, ERASMUS+ 2014-2020 Programme.
